Dear friends and colleagues
after more than a year of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to hold the fourth International Symposium on Childhood, Adolescent and Young Adult Hodgkin Lymphoma (4-ISCAYAHL-2021) in a digital form from the 27th of June – 2nd of July, 2021. We will have five days of scientific meetings, four hours each day with virtual live meetings or recorded presentations, and a (German) digital Patient Day on Sunday, 27th of June.
In spite of the pandemic our important symposium has almost become a tradition for scientists, clinicians, pharmacists, clinical trial staff, and all people who are involved in the science, diagnosis, and treatment of young people with Hodgkin lymphoma. We therefore want to offer, above all, an opportunity for exchange and to stay in contact.
We are putting together, in collaboration with our fantastic Scientific Committee, a high-quality programme with renowned international speakers and experts in the field of Hodgkin lymphoma.
As you have already submitted your abstracts for oral or poster presentation for the Symposium in 2020, we offer that you may present those in the actual (already published in Klin Pädiat 2020) or an updated version in the scheduled sessions again. The session topics remain the same as had been planned for 2020 in a slightly modified timely order, since the symposium format will be digital. You may also submit new further abstracts through the abstract submission platform on the website.
All submissions, those that will be taken forward from 2020 and those newly submitted and peer-reviewed for presentation will be recorded for the presentation on the symposium and remain digitally accessible for three months beyond.
The call for abstracts will remain open until April 11, 2021 (prolonged until April 18, 2021). Recordings of accepted abstracts will be peformed in May and June 2021, technical assistance will be provided through the congress organization CSi Hamburg and EventClass Dresden.
We will not only have a Patients day for the first time ever, but we will also have it online for the first time, which will be held right before the Symposium on Sunday afternoon, 27 June 2021. More information is to come very soon!
We hope very much, that you will stay with us/join our endeavour this year 2021 in a digital form. The draft agenda and session topics will be available on this website!
Sincerely, with kindest regards
